Rarely do we get a chance to participate in a historic event, especially involving the place we call home. One hundred years ago, several residents of St. Petersburg started with a vision and developed farmland and wilderness into what eventually became the Historic Old Northeast Neighborhood--one of the most scenic and recognized communities in St. Petersburg and the entire Tampa Bay area.
Please come out and join your neighbors to celebrate this special event!
This celebration of community will feature music, entertainment and fun for the entire family. So don that bonnet or boater (see more info below) and bring your picnic basket down to the park, or order a box lunch in advance that will be prepared for you for the celebration. And don't forget a blanket or folding chairs to sit on.
What a great way to start the holiday season, mingle with your neighbors, and take part in an extraordinary commemoration that we can share.
Games & Activities
Please sign up for the games when you arrive because each game has limited participation! Rules for the games can be found on the Game Rules page, and gift cards be be awarded on stage toward the end of the picnic.
