WTSP-TV Channel 10 broadcast its Morning Show live from 5 am to 7 am in 500 block of 14th Ave NE. The live show is part of WTSP's weekly series, Why Do They Call It That? which focused on the history of Tampa Bay area and why people love the places where they live, like the Historic Old Northeast neighborhood. The hosts interviewed an array of Old Northeast businesses, and the crew from the 4th Street fire station. Off camera, the crew engaged in lively conversation with the business representatives and neighbors who had joined the unique experience.
