Did you see that flame-throwing witch and flying monkeys last year? Or the Headless Horseman or Freddy Krueger lurking on a roof top? Follow the scavenger hunt map this year and discover new surprises lurking in the neighborhood! Then return with your answers to the hunt and claim your prize.
As part of the Scavenger Hunt, Ghost Tours of St. Petersburg will be providing performances based on the book, Ghost Stories of St. Petersburg. Your map will reveal the location of the stage.
Maps can be picked up between 6 pm and 9 pm, and ghost stories appear every half hour with the last performance starting at 9:30 pm.
The hunt involves locations throughout the neighborhood. Plan to spend about one hour visiting locations by driving, and an extra half hour for the spooktacular show. (Driving is recommended. The Old Northeast neighborhood is almost two miles long and one mile wide in some areas, and a large area is included in the scavenger hunt map.)
